"Easy Wheels was written by Ivan Raimi and brother Sam Raimi, and directed by David O'Malley. It was produced between Evil Dead II (1987), and Darkman (1990). Third brother Ted Raimi also appears. For those who absolutely must see everything Bruce Campbell has ever appeared in."

Easy Wheels, is not a very good movie and if I had to guess Eileen Davidson ( from The Young and Restless fame ) who is not only the star of this movie, but the only star in this movie and perhaps the only recognizable face in the movie, would be one of the first to tell you that. The movie at best is a satire about outlaw biker films from the late 1960s and 1970s. It's about two biker gangs, one led by a man Paul LeMat ( who is this guy? ) and the other is a female biker gang led by Eileen Davidson.

Eileen plays a woman who was literally raised by wolves. real life wolves, we're talking about a woman who was actually raised by dogs. Paul LeMat plays a guy with a steel plate in his head who has all these weird visions in his head. And someone you don't want to head-butt you. (Ha, ha) In one way at least this movie is interesting at least Eileen's character, because she plays a feminist who wants to raise a new generation of powerful women, but it then it goes Twilight Zone ( without the great writing, cast, plot, or Rod Serling ) because this female biker gang led by their fearless independent leader, decided to kidnap female babies and take them to the woods to be raised by the wolves that raised their fearless, independent, feminist leader, She Wolf ( no kidding ) played by Eileen Davidson.

If you believe in the notion that movies by themselves don't have to be good to be watchable and entertaining, if there is a hot sexy actress in it wearing a sexy outfit looking great in it and from a woman's perspective a hot sexy man wearing a sexy outfit in it, if the actress or actor can also act and does a great job even with the limited material in it, then Easy Wheels at least from that perspective is worth watching, because Eileen Davidson is a Hollywood Goddess in the best sense of the word. She takes a football team that on paper should probably win maybe 2 games all year and gets them to a 6-10 or 8-8 record, by herself.

Barb Wire from 1996 with Pamela Anderson, where she plays a part-time biker chick/rebel warrior who takes on people who are trying to destroy or kill people she's close to, but generally only takes jobs if it involves people she's personally connected to and doesn't go out of her way to help people and runs a nightclub as her main job, is a much better movie than Easy Wheels ( which isn't saying much ) but I if you asked 100 guys without Pamela Anderson as the lead actress and replace her with an average looking woman in it would they still watch the movie and I'm guess 95-100 would say no to that. That is what Eileen Davidson represents in Easy Wheels, the eye candy who kicks ass.

Eileen Davidson is a great actress, she's funny, she hot, she's sexy, she's adorable in this movie, even when she's kicking ass, she kicks ass in it taking on biker dudes and beating them. And she wears full sexy outlaw biker chick outfit in the movie. All leathered up with a black leather jacket, skin-tight black leather jeans, black leather boots. Great shots of her in this outfit on and off her bike. I've watched her in this movie several times just to check her out and hear her adorable sexy voice in it, that she still has and see her adorable gorgeous smile, which she still has. And Eileen makes a peanut butter sandwich into one of the  best tasting sandwiches in the world in this movie. Working with very weak material and turning it into something worth watching.

The Daily Beast: Gore Vidal's- Fighting Words

Source:The Daily Beast- Writer & political humorist Gore Vidal.
Source:The Daily Journal

What I respect probably most about both Gore Vidal when it came to debating and their senses of humor was the way he was able to make points without stating the obvious. He could say things similar to Margaret Thatcher on the right. Where she said that the problem with socialism, is that you eventually run out of other people's money, when a lot of other anti-Socialists would say things like, the problems with socialism is that it spends, taxes and controls too much, that sort of thing.

Whereas someone like a Margaret Thatcher would use humor and get right to the point of it. Gore Vidal and Bill Buckley had similar styles when it came to debating, even though they came from the opposite side of the political spectrum. They could put someone down or crack a joke at their expense, not to destroy them or hurt their feelings but even make them laugh as they were doing it. They could punch their opponents without calling them names. Ron Reagan same thing. He didn't call his political opponents as he called them, not political enemies which is different. He didn't call them idiots, he just said that they know so much that isn't actually true. They believe their own hype and rhetoric and actually take it seriously, which can be a problem in politics.

That's the style of humor and debate that I prefer and practice even though I'm not perfect at it. I try to stay as close to facts as possible, especially when I'm critiquing the opposition, which for me would be right-wingers, whether they are Republican or not. And lately when I'm critiquing the Right, it's been Neoconservatives for the most part unfortunately. Classical Conservatives the Bill Buckely's of the World, seem to be MIA in the Republican Party, which is unfortunate.

But it's not just the right that I critique but I write satires about the, lets say farther left, ( to not offend any of my oversensitive Socialist friends ) while right-wingers have a tendency to call Progressives Communists or Islamic Fascists or any of these labels that aren't true. When it comes to so-called Progressives, ( locked in the closet Socialists, in actuality ) Socialist is accurate except for the Barack Obama's of the world who actually is a Progressive and not a Socialist. ( Newsflash for the Tea Party ) More of a RFK or FDR classical Progressive than anything. I say things like Socialists want to take care of people by spending their money for them.

I try not to make it personal, especially when I'm critiquing the opposition and you can do that by staying as close to the facts as possible. By not name calling, not making it personal, instead of calling someone and idiot or ignorant, try saying something like they would make a great fiction writer. Which is a great way to describe most of the speeches of Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann, rather than trying to insult them by name calling.

The Hollywood Reporter: Susan Lacy & Jane Fonda in Five Acts- From Hedonism To Activism

Source:The Hollywood Reporter- Hollywood Goddess Jane Fonda.
Source:The New Democrat

Jane Fonda is a bit of an enigma for me because on one side she's one of my favorite actresses. She's not just one of the  best actresses of her generation and in the same class as Elizabeth Taylor, Natalie Wood, and many others, but she's one of the best actresses ever. I believe people who hate her politics would probably give her that.

But then on the other side she's one of the most famous political activists that the New-Left in America ( Far-Left Socialists and Communists ) that America has. People who see America as the real evil empire in the world, as a racist, selfish, militarist, corporate fascist dictatorship, country that should be put down and overthrown. At least in the late 1960s and early 1970s, she was as Far-Left ideologically as The Weather Underground, Students For a Democratic Society and other New-Left political action groups of the late 1960s and 1970s.

The early 1970s is where Jane Fonda got the nickname Hanoi Jane, because she essentially labeled America as the bad guys in the Vietnam War. She toured in North Vietnam with people that America was fighting in that war. She labeled President Richard Nixon as a war criminal. Her early political activism of the early and mid 1960s was in support of the American civil rights movement. Which I give her credit for as a supporter of that movement as well. But by the late 1960s it became about the Vietnam War and as someone who is opposed to that war myself and if I was alive back then I would've been writing against the war and doing other things, it's not being against the Vietnam War where I differ with Jane Fonda. But how she opposed the war.

Robert Kennedy was opposed to the war at least when he was in the U.S. Senate and one of the strongest opponents of the war while in Congress, but he was never an opponent of the American military and our service personal. Or saw America as some bad country and part of some evil empire. He opposed the war based on facts and didn't use hyperbolic rhetoric to make his case against the war. But always stayed with the facts that it was a cvil war and wasn't the job of America to fight other countries wars for them.

Jane Fonda is a very bright, beautiful, adorable, sexy, great actress, who has always viewed herself as more than an actress as she always has been. Several of her movies are some of my favorite movies like The China Syndrome from 1979, California Suite from 1978, The Chapman Report from 1962, and perhaps a few others. But I don't believe you can talk about Jane Fonda at least when you're talking about her career and just focus on the positive aspects of her life. She's still one of the most controversial people in America because of her radical political activism especially as it relates to the Vietnam War.

The Rubin Report: Dave Rubin Interviewing Bob Saget- Comedy, Full House & Dirty Jokes

Source:The Rubin Report- Back to you, Bob Saget.
Source:The New Democrat

Talking about Bob Saget, comedy, and dirty jokes, reminds me of the great but unfortunately short-lived comedian Lenny Bruce. Who was actually arrested on stage in the late 1950s and through the 1960s for telling dirty jokes. Joking about sexuality and using what was called back then dirty language. Clear violations of Lenny Bruce's First Amendment rights, but back in the late 1950s and early 1960s, American culture was a lot different. We were a lot more collectivist as a society and culture and similar to how women weren't required by law to stay home and raise their kids, while their husbands went out and worked to pay the bills, dirty jokes weren't considered acceptable to the point that people could literally get arrested and face jail and prison time for using them.

Forget about Bob Saget for a minute who I'm sure in his own right is a swell kind of guy, but this interview is starting to put me to sleep and just because someone is boring doesn't necessarily mean they're a bad guy. Of course you can be boring and a bad person, but Saget I believe is just boring at least as an interview. But to tell you what I think about comedy personally, comedy to me whether you're talking about dirty jokes or clean jokes, comedy to me it about expression. It's about how the comedian communicates to their audience what they're thinking and what they're experiencing. But does it in a humorous way.

You have comedians who talk about their most personal of relationships. Rodney Dangerfield's wife was his personal target practice and he was always making fun of his wife. You have comedians who joke about  travel experiences and what life is like on the road for them and make a living simply by having an excellent memory and joke about the hotel rooms they stayed at and the meals they ate. Plane flights, renting cars on the road. You have comedians who joke about politics, current affairs, American culture. Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Dennis Miller, Bill Maher, and many others. Comedians tend to joke about what they're personally experiencing and what they're currently thinking.

I believe the best comedians are the comedians who have great accurate memories. Who don't necessarily write down everything that they see and experience, but make mental notes and situations, people that they experience and find an intelligent way to talk about that in their acts. Who make fun of people and situations, but not to bash someone or something and try to make that person look like the worst loser since the 1976 0-14 Tampa Buccaneers ( sorry for the NFL joke ) but instead make fun of things that person did or experienced and talk about their own funny experiences with those people.

Jerry Seinfeld who is a great comedian but not buy favorite comedian, is an expert of of the personal comedy. Johnny Carson who is much better than Seinfeld, was even better at this style of humor as well as being a great political satirist. Comedians who takes notes of life and do a great job of analyzing it in a fun, humorous, intelligent way.
