As bad as authoritarian regimes and states are, they don’t have a monopoly when it comes to government propaganda or government propaganda films. They do those things, of course, and so does the developing, democratic world that has a history of corruption and authoritarianism in their past. But so does the democratic, developed world, including in the West and even in the United States.
